It has visual indicators to prevent any risk of misuse, and this, with the anti-misuse rotation lock, gives you peace of mind that everything has been installed correctly. The Maxi Cosi FamilyFix also boasts FlexiSpin technology which makes the seat rotate in any reclined position, and thanks to the handle on the base, this can be achieved using only one hand- ideal for busy parents who never have enough hands! ISOFIX is an international standardized fitting system that has designed to provide a safe, easy, and quick solution to installing child car seats without the use of car seat belts.
Since , most newly produced cars have been equipped with ISOFIX anchorage points and some also feature a top tether anchorage point. ISOFIX helps to ensure a proper fit for your car seat each time as well as allowing you to easily remove your car seat from the car without the hassle of securing a seat belt every time.
The ISOFIX base stays in the car so you only have to install it once, unless you want to use the car seat in another vehicle. ISOFIX points are usually hidden in the joint between the back of the seat and the seat cushion and occasionally have helpful labels to help you find them.
The base's user manual will usually contain a section that guides you through the installation and removal process so you can ensure you complete these steps safely and correctly. Has anyone got anything to add as to whether this is actually correct, or should I return it for the familyfix? DS is in the Pearl at the moment with the Family Fix base - he's right though you can only use it with the base.
We have that one in my car and then hubby has a cheaper Mothercare car seat in his car about 40 I think that doesn't have a base and we just use the seat belt with so that can be swapped about as much as we need. I didn't think the Easyfix worked with the Cabriofix might be wrong though!
We've never had any problems with the Family Fix and would definitely recommend - don't know if that's answered your question or not! Thank you. Yes the cabriofix is definiately compatible as he demonstrated with it using the easyfix in store.

I can't remember if the Pebble fits in the Easyfix x. One fits with isofix only but will take two stages of seat. One fits seatbelt or isofix so is movable into different cars We got the family fix one because at the time I didn't have isofix in my car.
