How many cards can be equipped to a monster

Xyz Materials are sent to the Graveyard when the Xyz Monster leaves the field, but not if the Xyz Monster is flipped face-down. If they are destroyed while equipped, they return to being Monster cards in the Graveyard. For example, either Dark Hole or Heavy Storm will destroy them.
